Spring & Summer Floral Trends 2023

 May 8, 2023

Spring weddings are finally upon us! And with this gorgeous season of flowers blooming and new life, we are predicting some fun and never-before-seen floral trends. Modern brides are getting more personalized with every detail in their wedding, and we are here for it. We love seeing weddings that feel fitting and unique to the couple because they are staying true to themselves. Whatever your wedding vibes are, just make sure you stick to what you ultimately want!

We’ve compiled a list of our favorite wedding floral trends that we hope to see this Spring and Summer.

1. Petite Bouquets

Kicking things off with a unique take on the typical, extravagant bouquet; Petite bouquets. These are floral arrangements made using fewer flowers to create a more simplistic and modern look. A smaller bouquet will be less distracting and won’t take any attention away from the bride. These smaller bouquets can also be made using just one type of floral in order to achieve that minimalistic look.

2. Woodland-Inspired Florals

Another fun trend that we predict this year’s brides will be incorporating is woodland-inspired arrangements. Woodsy or nature-inspired arrangements could include moss, wood rounds, butterflies, and lots of greenery. These kinds of arrangements are fun and really lean into that fairytale wedding vibe if that’s something you’re going for.

3. Statement Arches

Statement arches can be achieved using either greenery, florals, or faux florals if you need to keep it low-budget. The statement arch has become popular over the past few years and we don’t see it stopping anytime soon. You can certainly achieve statement art without incorporating florals – we’ve seen brides use fabric, wood, or other materials to create gorgeous arches without flowers. This stunning arch was created by the talented Rose and Blossom. Check them out in our featured vendors to learn more!

4. Bold Color Palettes With Contrast

One of our personal favorite trends is bouquets and arrangements that include lots of bold colors and colors that contrast each other. We love it when brides step out of the box and try something fun, especially when it matches their personality. The bouquet above was crafted by Rose and Blossom

5. Incorporating Non-Floral Items In Decor

This last floral trend is another fun, unique way to spice up your wedding decor without adding more flowers. To make your tablescapes and arrangements extra special, add non-floral items like fake butterflies, succulents, or feathers. There are many ways to spice up your bouquet without having to up your flower order. As an added detail, we love the trend of brides wrapping their bouquets in satin or a long scarf.
