Summer wedding season will be here before we know it, and this beautiful lakeside wedding has us dreaming of sunshine! Priest Lake is a hidden gem in northern Idaho, and this couple took full advantage of the beautiful landscapes. We love the mismatched colors of the bridesmaids dresses, and that this couple incorporated so much of their love of family in their wedding– including furry family members!
From the photographer, “Ben fell in love with the PNW after visiting Taryne’s family for the first time. They decided to have their wedding at the gorgeous setting of Elkins Resort. Taryne was hopeful for a beautiful summer day with snow still in the mountains for photos. She got her wish! With all their closest friends and family around helping them celebrate, they took advantage of the beautiful lodge, lush back yard & gorgeous Priest Lake that makes Elkins so great, and ended their night by exiting on a boat! There’s something special about shooting around a lake. Couples ask me all the time where I prefer to shoot and I always tell them anywhere near water. Combine that with amazing mountains, a quiet evergreen forest completely surrounding the cute property and you’re guaranteed amazing memories.”
