Walla Walla Wedding By Melissa Mcfadden

 December 16, 2013

As many of you know, we launched our Central Washington directory last week. It’s been so fun learning about all the AMAZING vendors who work in the area, one of my personal favorites is Melissa McFadden Photography, who also happens to be one of our featured photographers. Melissa sent me Holly and Matt’s wedding at a private property in Walla Walla….and yes, that is an olive tree… has there ever been a cooler ceremony backdrop??? The wedding took place at Holly’s parents property, Holly did a fabulous job of coordinating all the details, it’s never easy planning a wedding at a place that is not a typical venue, but this wedding proves that hard work pays off. It also proves that no matter how much you plan, being able to roll with the punches is a necessary part of being a bride (no matter where you get married!). On the day of the wedding there was a freak thunderstorm that blew through the reception. Guests held down the tent poles and the storm blew over in a couple minutes…then everyone resumed the party!
