Wedding By 2ee’s Photography & Soiree Event Design

 January 10, 2014

Kaycee and Simon’s bright and cheery wedding is the perfect way to celebrate the end of, what has to be, one of the longest weeks of the year (did anyone else struggle with the post Holiday blues this week?!). This couple chose a vibrant color scheme to match their fun personalities and had one heck of a vendor team, including the lovely ladies at Soiree Event Design to coordinate the day and the amazing 2ee’s Photography to capture it all. Be sure to read all about the details at the bottom of the post!

Here’s a little from Ali and Jessica from Soiree Event Design about the special day: “What could be a better way to spend a gorgeous fall Saturday than at an outdoor wedding? On October 6th, Kaycee and Simon tied the knot at The Barn at Wild Rose Prairie in Deer Park; a perfect location for vintage grey and mustard wedding. The bouquets by Special Touch Floral were a mix of Ivory Roses, Billy Balls, Dusty Millers, Babies Breathe, and very delicate Scabiosa Pods which went perfectly with their theme. Kaycee and Simon had a lot of unique touches. One thing that Kaycee and Simon love to do together is eat breakfast! Flavours by Sodexo catered the event with a breakfast for dinner buffet with everything from fruit salad to quiches. After dinner everyone moved into the barn for desserts and dancing. Music was provided by the Los Lunas Brothers. The band took a break in the middle of the festivities so that groom’s band could play. As if that wasn’t great enough, the bride got up and sang with her new husband for all of their guests. Dessert was provided by Just American Desserts. Sugary sweets included a two-tier wedding cake decorated with flowers that matched the bride’s bouquet and bite-sized filled cupcakes in three different flavors. At the end of the evening guests snagged some party favors and participated in a sparkler send-off. Individual s’mores packages that said, “S’more Love for You” were available for guests to take home or roast over a fire on the property. Guests lit their sparklers with personalized matchboxes that said “The Perfect Match” with the bride and groom’s name and date of the wedding. 2ees Photography and Sure Shot Video did a marvelous job of capturing every detail of the day down to the numerous print materials designed by the very talented bride (check out her creative business, http://www.bigpictureclasses.com/, for some design classes) and centerpieces. Kaycee and Simon were an extraordinary couple and a joy to work with. We were so lucky to be a part of their big day!”Vendors Venue: Barn on Wild Rose Prairie Coordination: Soiree Event Design Photography: 2ee’s Photography Flowers: Special Touch Florist Cake: Just American Desserts Catering: Flavours by Sodexo  Stationery: The bride (Big Picture Classes) Band: Los Lunas Brothers
