One of our favorite things about venues in the Pacific Northwest is that they are so versatile. Most venues offer options for winter/summer, indoor/outdoor, barn/field, rustic/elegant, and the opportunities are endless. This couple decided to think outside the box and host their ceremony in the whimsical woodland setting just outside of the main venue, and it created a magical setting for their first moments as husband and wife. We love the pops of bright red throughout the ceremony and reception, and we’re pretty sure every wedding should have a pizza bar!
From the photographer… “This intimate woodsy wedding features most of the special details done with love by the brides family. Not only was the ceremony gorgeously decorated with an altar that was draped in red cloth over a wooden frame made by the groom, but the reception details are STUNNING. Additionally, while most couples go to Foxwood and look around flabbergasted by the amazing potential ceremony sites, this couple looked at the woods *next* to the grounds, and asked to marry there instead–and it was the BEST decision.”
