While the weather might be slightly unpredictable for a spring wedding, your ceremony space definitely won’t be. Part of the appeal of getting married in our area is the gorgeous landscape, so give guests a taste of what you love about a space and have an outdoor ceremony! Commellini has 2 beautiful water-side ceremony locations, as well as an outdoor patio, a covered location (in case of rain!) that are surrounded by blooming hillsides and water features. They have 2 historical indoor venues for inclement weather options, as well as the coordination for outdoor tenting if you’d prefer to stay outside.
Commellini Estate’s creekside venue is set in Dartford Valley, alongside a natural spring creek that accommodates 185 guests seated ceremony style. It’s a small hillside that blooms yellow and white daffodi’s every spring like clockwork with an elegant white pergola that can be draped in florals, fabric, or left bare and still look beautiful. Nearby is a historic bridge and waterfall in the background perfect for making a grand entrance down, or for a dramatic first look
Commellini’s pond side space has the capacity to seat 300 people for both a ceremony and reception, so it’s perfect for large groups. Covered in a tent of bistro lights, this space illuminates at night for pictures and partying! Surrounded by two hillsides full of tall pine trees and blooming daffodils, this location is covered in astroturf that blends in with the natural surrounding lawns for a clean and crisp look. The backdrop at this location is our pond sourced by Dartford Creek. It also includes a water fountain in the center that lights up at night.
Not to be forgetting is Commellini Estate’s epic in house catering. From fresh seasonal fruit & gourmet cheese displays to menus filled with things like sautéed rosemary salmon served with a lemon basil compound butter and white wine, seasonal roasted vegetables, and a light cucumber, tomato, and onion penne pasta salad. Or maybe a prosciutto stuffed chicken breast served with linguine and our homemade white wine alfredo, and a fresh cut Commellini house salad tossed with artichokes, olives, genoa salami, and a house-made vinaigrette. All meals are served with rustic fresh baked Italian bread and butter, and we need to go because we’re drooling now!
